About Silverlining
♥ I know, I know. The site ain't silver at all. But you see, what I meant by silverlining is that which we see over dark skies after the rain. Cliche-ish, I know, but well, that's the ideaâ??that in every story, there's always a silverlining somewhere.
♥ These are mere attempts at retelling true-to-life stories about love, friendship and faith with a touch of anonymity. The stories are not all mine, and may not be about me. I say you'd even be surprised, 'coz one of them could be YOUR story. Or one of the characters could be YOU. Now that's the fun part.Ã?
♥ Comments are removed enabled. Just because. Because you requested.
♥ Wherever you are, you can come back home anytime. I'll be waiting.

Quoteworthy
♥ "I used to believe we write our own stories, but each time we think we know the end... we don't. Perhaps destiny exsists somewhere between the world of planning, the world of chance, and the peace that comes from knowing that you just cant know it all. Life's funny that way. Once
you let go of the wheel, you end up right where you belong."

Barya Barya Lang
This is why most nurses are women.. and most stock brokers are men.
Girl : the thing is, kung barya barya lang yung investment mo, you cannot expect high ROI too. it's a lose-lose situation.
Boss : not true
Boss : how much does a domain cost? $2.99?
Boss : then how come people are selling it for millions? :D
Girl : oh yeah. why nga?
Girl : i'm sure they're risking something big right?
Boss : "typed-in traffic"
Boss : http://dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm
Girl : what are these? resellers?
Boss : they buy domains
Boss : then they resell
Girl : i don't get it..
Girl : e di lugi yung nagbenta ng wholesale?
Boss : well...
Boss : short term gain
Girl : pero bossing..
Girl : *kamut ulo*
Boss : ok stock market metaphor naman
Boss : everything we do has a risk component
Boss : the best brokers have made risk analysis a science
Boss : the successful people know when to risk nothing, or to risk it all
Boss : in love, you never "risk it all" initially
Girl : uh-uh
Boss : that's plain stupid
Boss : even in marriage, you should never "risk it all"
Boss : don't lose yourself
Boss : leave some for yourself, always
Girl : where does "barya barya" come in?
Boss : anong barya? :))
Girl : ewan.. that was YOUR quotable quote this morning.
Boss : like a good stockbroker, assess each investment
Boss : put some money in
Boss : lagay 1K dito, 2K dito, 3K doon, 1.5K dyan
Boss : then when you see that one of your investments is moving up in value....
Boss : yon
Girl : so is that how men handle relationships? like some stock market?
Boss : i can't speak for the others
Girl : yeah. ok. that does make sense. thanks boss.
